How to Transfer Files with Xender apk through PC/Mac - weblason

Hello, hope your day was great, today am going to share an article on how to share files either pictures, application and so on to system without using Bluetooth or any other connected devices. Which is through Xender. 

To achieve this one must have an android phone or any other Smartphone in which Google playstore is installed in it. To enter the playstore must have a Google Gmail id, then when it successfully login then search for “Xender” when you find it install it and then open it then all your applications, videos, pictures will shown there, then for one to share the files and other application through it to your Pc, one must follow the below steps.

Step1: click the “+” icon surrounded with red background then it will bring a pop up which include “create group” , “join group” , “connect pc”,  “connect iphone”, “connect WP”

·         Create group: The create group is used to transfer files from phone to phone , in which one we create the group and the second join group, then the two phone will automatically connected together the the files can send successfully.

·         Join group:  The join group is the second one of the create group, the person that want to send the files can create while the person to receive the files can join or vice versa. 

·         Connect Pc: The connect pc is used to transfer files from phone to Pc, this is the one we’re going to explain in this article.

·         Connect iphone: you can use this if you want, instead of using the “create group and join group”. It is used to transfer files too.

·         Connect Wp: Although this also has it function but have not used it before but can later be discussed. Because am writing this article based on my experience and usage.

Step2:  click the “connect pc” and then it brings two options for you:

Ø  If you have internet access for both phone and Pc/Mac. Tap the button below to turn to the Wifi.

Ø  If you have no internet connection or access, tap the button below

Note: The second option is widely used and its your choice although both do the same work.

Step3: Then you click on the “Wifi hotspot” then the phone will automatically create a hotspot and then follow the next steps. 

Switch on Wifi on your Pc/Mac and then connect the network named Xender_ap****: This means in your Pc go to your connection icon then the network named Xender_ap**** will be there then connect it.

Step4: on your Pc/Mac open your browser and then type the web address shown on your phone to the Pc. It will be something like this: http://192.168.43.1.1:33455, then press enter. After that accept the invitation on your Phone, and then start the copying of files.

Step5: 

on your Pc/Mac, you will see some icons like picture, music video and so on. Let’s choose image icon, to upload any image to your phone click the upload image then you can copy anything there. To download images from your phone to PC. Mark the images to be downloaded then click the batch download beside the upload image and it will download as zip file, extract it and see your pictures or images you download. You do the same for music too….

Note: After doing all what you wana do you can logout if you wish.

These are steps to follow to copy files from phone to Pc/Mac.
